Back Story

Over the next two and a half decades, humanity will become increasingly advanced, as its fascination with interplanetary colonization grows ever stronger. However, in the year 2040, a series of massive solar flares begin to erupt from our sun, dramatically increasing the stars radiation outputs. This event will increase the levels of heat and light energy that penetrates the Earths atmosphere by devastating degrees, leading to a rapid decrease in the planets surface habitability. Still too primitive to commit to a total exodus from their home, the human race will adapt the technology previously developed for interstellar settlement, and dive beneath the sea in an attempt to escape their otherwise imminent solar demise. The following century will become defined by efforts to descend ever further, as various calamities and conflicts push the human race deeper into the sea.

Plot

In the year 2140, a young girl sets off on a journey of discovery after inadvertently stumbling upon a relic from humanities past.
