Sadie Long Step 1-Part 2

10 fragments of the Future and Innovation.

1. Today there is a throwable camera that can detect heat and other air temperatures, withstand high and low temperatures and have speakers to communicate like a walkie talkie, while viewing what the camera can see from a tablet or other viewing device; therefore in fifty years, more lives can be saved with the guidance of it, and could be turned into a pet like computer ball that you can control with the ability to warn them of harm.

2. Today, we have projectors and lasers, and glass projections, however with science and combinations of these we have slowly progressed towards 3d holograms. The idea isn't able to hit homes yet and it is being worked on. I believe in 100 years, we could use this to be able to communicate and design projects with just simple placement of these machines.

3. Miniature medical equipment, like a chip injection, that can help diagnose and alert doctors about a patient without biopsies is in the work right now, but I think in the future with more of these computer like devices in a human, they will find a way to control the human body just by a small chip and blood cells.

4. A pop-up housing structure, designed out of the old railroad carts and other recyclable products, being sold and build with all living necessities, put in the housing shortages of the world, so with this concept 50 years in the future, getting rid of junk, we can have neighboring stackable houses. It could be symbol of the crowded human population.

5. In highly polluted areas and populous areas, building walls to hold aloe and other plants to help depollute the air around, such as plants that don't need a lot of water or soil and building walls and skyscrapers out of them, even though this is potentially able to happen today, it would lead to a "Green city" in the future where a city can fully function with foliage built on top of it.

6. Glasses with augmented reality that help people are already making with something called google glass, however, say in 50 years, to help memory and elderly, the glasses can recognize faces and routines and guide you throughout your day and remember faces with their names displayed biased on eye directions. Maybe it would create an augmented reality and people would rely so much on it, they forget how to use their brain for memory storage.

7. Real life inception, with a headband that can control dreams, lucid dreaming, with help of an app on your phone and setting it with smart sleeping cycle has been made by a company recently. With this idea, we could create a way for blind or people with really bad vision be able to see with being able to have a chip put in them and have this headband show them the world via brainwaves in a hundred years.

8. 3d printing is slowly becoming a thing for designing sculptures and small items. However, in 50-100 years from now, they will basically be designing the whole world. The technology will be more advanced and the speed and efficiency will rise, so we could design from toys, to houses, to big buildings eventually everything will be made of this 3d printing, even robotic humans, that could potential of the same thinking powers of humans. With the buildings, people can constantly change the appearance of their house with the design and projectors.

9. Today, there are houses that can be controlled by a tablet or smart phone; however in the future, a smart house built around a person's routine, so a test is made to for a person and the house is designed for that person or family to save electricity and have things ready when needed based on their personal needs with a panel and computer built into the house.

10. Bullet trains are made for easier travel in highly populated places and long travels is now a way to travel in Japan. With this being invented, it can be brought to almost any country or continent. In the next 100-200 years we would be able to bring almost all the continents together in some sort of way, especially also with the use of bringing hover cars and bikes. In the future, we could potentially have easier access to all the continents with simple access roads build throughout the oceans.
